The Lindsay Family Association of America, Inc.

The Lindsay Family Association of America Inc. was an extension of the work initially started by Margaret Isabella Lindsay with her publication of the Lindsays of America in 1889.

The first Annual Meeting of this organization was held on the evening of October 27, 1904 at the Hotel Lenox in Boston Massachusetts. The 10th Annual Meeting was held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday evening, October 30, 1913, at the Hotel Lenox in Boston, Massachusetts. This is the last meeting which was documented with a formal Annual Report. It is not known if this organization ever met officially after this date. It is also not known when the organization ceased to function as a group.

Two of the charter members of The Lindsay Family Association of America, Inc. were Margaret Isabella Lindsay Atkinson and John William Linzee, Jr.
