Other Family Surname DNA Projects

An attempt was made, in the early stages of the Lindsay International web site, to maintain an accurate list of the surname DNA projects that were being initiated around the world.  It is a very time consuming achievement to keep this list updated and accurate.  Due to the fact two other fellow DNA Project Administrators have chosen to do this also, I have made the decision to abandon the list at this web site and link visitors to the other two sites which are very well done and maintained.  If you would like to see how other families have initiated and managed their surname DNA projects, visit these sites and review the detail information found there.  There are now well over 1000 (Sept. 2004) surname DNA projects underway.

Kevin Duerinck is no longer maintaining his list of Surname DNA Projects.  Kevin has passed his list on to World Families Network for future updates.   Click on  Surname DNA Projects Database to get to the World Families web site and the current, most complete, listing of surname DNA projects.

Our thanks to Chris Pomery, Kevin Duerinck and World Families Network for their tireless efforts to maintain this information for all to see and use.
