There have been many writings regarding the origin of the Lindsays of Scotland.  The Flemish descent of the Scottish Lindsays has been summarized in the two accounts found in the navigation bar on the left of this screen.

Ron Lindsay is the author of "Earliest Lindsays of Scotland".  The second one "Flemish Descent of the Lindsays" was created by Teresa Bostle, President of The Clan Lindsay Society of Australia.  There is overlap in the source material and narrative, but each account offers unique content.
