The Lindsay International web site was initially created in June 2001, by Ron Lindsay of San Jose, California, and has since evolved into a comprehensive site for everything Lindsay. The use of “Lindsay” at this web site implies any one of the recognized spellings of our surname found in the Orthography section of this web site.
The use of the Lindsay badge, in the left side of the masthead of the pages of this web site, represents an acknowledgement of Robert Alexander Lindsay, the 29th Earl of Crawford, as the worldwide Chief of The Clan Lindsay.
The primary objective of this web site is three-fold.
Other Miscellaneous Objectives
We are indeed a global people with a great depth of varied interests and skills. The many stories of our Lindsay surname are fascinating and the legacy, left to each of us by our fore bearers, is well worth exploring.
For health reasons and for the sake of ensuring the continuity of this web site, Ron Lindsay has accepted the gracious commitment of his friend and fellow genetic-genealogist, Joe Lindsey of Virginia, to become the new webmaster of the Lindsay International web site. My sincere thanks to Joe for assuming this enormous responsibility, in December 2017.
Best regards from the webmasters at the Lindsay International web site.
