The Founders of The Clan Lindsay Association USA, Inc.

The four official founders of the Clan Lindsay Association USA. Inc are listed below.

• William Steen Lindsay, Jr.   (1898 - 1977)

William Steen Lindsay, Jr. was born July 27, 1898 in Lena, South Carolina.  He was the son of William Steen Lindsay and Phebe Lawton Lindsay.  He attended the University of South Carolina and graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering.  He died in Greenville, South Carolina on October 24, 1977, just over three years after the July 14, 1974 charter meeting for Clan Lindsay Association USA, Inc. held at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games in Linville, North Carolina.
