International Lindsay Pedigrees/Lineages

The intent, on this series of pages, is to assemble as many certified, Lindsay ^* family lineages as possible.  The owner and person responsible for submitting and maintaining each of these lineages will be noted along with the last date the document was revised.

The ultimate goal of the Lindsay Surname DNA Project is to discover how many of these Lindsay lineages share a common ancestor.

If you have a Lindsay lineage that can be qualified with the appropriate primary source citations and would like to see it published here, send Ron Lindsay a note.  Note: Primary source citations include but are not limited to birth, death and marriage certificates, family bibles, wills and land records.

^* We have established that the use of the italicized Lindsay surname, throughout this web site, implies all the accepted spellings of the surname found in the site Orthography section.

Note:  Did you know that the word "pedigree" comes from the French "pied de grue" which means crane's foot, the shape of which resembles the linked lines of a family tree.
