Sir David Lindsay - 1st Earl of Crawford

Sir David Lindsay (1365-1407) was descended from Sir Alexander Lindsay of Glenesk and Catherine Stirling.  Sir David married the Princess Catherine Stuart, who was the 5th daughter of King Robert II of Scotland.  Sir David Lindsay was created the first Earl of Crawford in 1398.

Sir David Lindsay is also noted for his sparing rather than killing an opponent during a tournament at London Bridge in 1390.  The balance of this narrative will be added at a later time.
