Carolina, d. June 1781, married Judith Hallom (Hallum?) at Ninety-Six
settlement in South Carolina in 1768. In 1770, John Cobb received a
grant of 100 acres on the Saluda River, in South Carolina. John
joined the Patriot militia, under Captain John Calhoun, and was killed on
the Saluda River in June 1781. |
