CobbRecords for the ancient family of Cobb show that John Cob appeared as a witness in Ardoch, Scotland in 1479 and Malcolm Cob owned land in Brechin, Scotland in 1508. John Cobb and thirteen others of the surname appeared in 1629 in the Brechin Commissariot Record.
